If I recall a few years back all these supposedly "expert climatogists" were predicting hurricanes to increase in activity and intensity every year...It was due to global warming and those who didn't believe were just simpletons and ignorant deniers...Gee what happened...

From my experience living in a typhoon area, they weren't as frequent, but the intensity has greatly increased.
