Hi, anyone viewed this video yet, is it true? I'm totally against stealing movies, audiobooks, and mp3's. But, I do not want the government to have access to my computer data.

Considering how the left was so outraged about the wiretaps of known terrorists, how do you think they will take this?

Patriot Act, War on Terror, ...goes on and on.

As a previous poster noted..they can tap your phone "just like that" so why not grab your laptop "just like that" ? They have to make sure you are not a threat.

No surprise here, the Democrats are just like Republicans, only with a friendlier face and better speaker.

The worst part is the fact that they will deny it, even with proof sitting right in front of you. The fact that the administration has gone to such lengths to hide it is the icing on the cake. Sad that we have to hear this from an international source.

Score another one for Obama's secret war on liberty.

Hmm, sounds like they are "making" news to me.
There have been companies for years that exist solely to fight counterfeiting on peer to peer networks (for a tidy sum).

Here's wiki's page on ACTA:
Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I did a search for Obama ACTA which resulted in a bunch of blogs. The most professional looking site was about Manny Acta (manager of the washington nationals).

Kind of like denying that the Patriot Act was NOT an invasion of privacy? A little ditty:: whenever I talked to my ex who lives in Malaysia...a muslim state by the way....we would jokingly blow into the phone & yell "check! check!" because we just kind of KNEW that we were being tracked. Even though he is SOOO not a terrorist & of course neither am I, but we just figured that our convos were being taped.

Probably buried in here somewhere:
H.R. 1 - Summary: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (GovTrack.us)

I already feel like a criminal when I fly - even though I never do anything illegal. Good grief!!
