As for the death penalty, why is it so difficult to get the point that if you're against the principle of the death penalty you are against it period! Regardless of the crime, against it is against it!!

"We're going to KILL you to show you that KILLING is wrong!" Explain that logic to me... anybody! No explanation needed other than they're CONservatives.
How about once you kill someone, you have completely taken away their civil rights, so therefore as punishment you will receive the same. Why put them in prison for life at $40,000 a year taxpayer burden? Maybe if you kill enough murderers, all but the really psychotic ones will get the message?

I'm still trying to figure out how 9/11 was the repub's fault?

Back up your stats on the taxpayer costs.

Here's an interesting story:

You can't even parody that, it's a parody of itself. It's so, cheesy.

Scott Murphy.

Osama Bin Laden.

Do you really wanna vote for someone who's picture we just put in the same ad as Osama Bin Laden? Of course you don't. Vote Republican. Because none of us are in ads with scary people

You just parodied it smarty-pants. The ad doesn't say any of that. Next time at least look into what you post, instead of just copying text from the Huffington Post.

The National Republican Congressional Committee is poised to release a new ad for their man in the race to fill a vacant House seat in New York. The ad, titled "National Tragedy," beats up on Democratic candidate Scott Murphy for refusing to say he'd advocate the death penalty for the perpetrators of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The spot begins with the words "September 11, 2001." As audio plays of Murphy giving a somewhat mealy-mouthed response to the death penalty prompt, the ad shows a series of terrorist mugshots culminating with a smiling Osama bin Laden.

These guys don't care a hoot about the Republican Party, the United States of America or the human race. This is the exact crap that just lost the GOP the Presidency by one of the largest landslides in history, so what do they do? They rachet it up a few notches! It really is time for moderate Republicans and traditional Conservatives of both parties to start thinking Third Party. That is, unless they are satisfied with Obama and the Democrats as an alternative to the Neocons.

Well said! It's worth remembering that 'Wingers are actually just a small fraction of the population, albeit a fraction that's very "noisy" and invests tremendous energy into media and forums (like this one).

And you're absolutely right, they have no loyalties to human decency, the U.S., or even Republicans. Just like Coulter, Limbaugh, O'Reilly and the rest, their only interest is in their own grandiosity, attention, and influence. They're not even Conservatives, they're just a kind of symbiotic parasite, that's found a cozy refuge in the GOP. Unfortunately they're slowly sucking the life out of the Party.

Even trying to have a meaningful political debate with any of them, makes no more sense than trying to argue religion with the Jehovah's Witnesses that come to your door. So while it's sometimes entertaining to "pull their chain" or skewer their cockeyed ideas and "logic" here, I'm starting to think that maybe it would be best if the rest of us just ignore them, and let 'em all just sink back into their impotent echo chambers and irrelevancy (where they ultimately seem to be headed). And that's really what they're most afraid of anyway... just being ignored.

It had been planned for at least 5 years.

It was not "one of the largest landslides in history." In fact, it wasn't even a "landslide." Remember, 62 million voters did not vote for Obama.
