In a move that will likely get California's consumers in a huff, impending legislation may soon restrict the paint color options for Golden State residents looking for their next new vehicle. The specific colors that are currently on the chopping block are all dark hues, with the worst offender seemingly the most innocuous color you could think of: Black.

When we first heard of this issue, an internal debate immediately began as to whether this might be an elaborate early April Fool's joke, but it isn't.
It seem like I have a new reason to be glad for moving out of Kalifornia every day. These people are just plain nuts.
First it's black cars. Next you know, it will be the color you paint your front door. California: the state where paint colors are more important than who the people elect as their Governor!
O.o This is bizarre...crazy...insane...ridiculous. Sure, darker cars absorb more heat into your car just like wearing dark color clothing keeps you warmer... =_= That is definitely not going to resolve anything.
Guess us gun nuts were right, now they're after your evil black cars, they are, afterall, tools of mass murder, you can drive one right through a crowd, no one needs a black car, they're only for evading capture at night...
This is crazy...but hey, it's also the state where guns in one finish are legal, while those of another aren't, same gun, different finish is all.
Heaven forbid you should be caught with a Black SUV.
