How Obama got elected - a harmonious combination of filling the majority with white guilt and consistently playing the race card. Oh boy does this guy love to make us feel guilty - Just like Carter, another infamous Democrat.

What? Show one statement or one speech that support this? I've heard some far reaching statements since the election but this tops them all. Your saying that the whites that voted for this president was GUILTED into it?

This is that slick way they have of playing their own race card. They're the ones who are really the racists, but--in a totally predictable Freudian move--they project their own racism onto others. It is, of course, TOTALLY racist to assert that a white person couldn't vote for a black candidate unless that person were shamed into it by guilt--the subtext being, obviously, that there would be no other explanation for voting for a black candidate.

These racist clowns have always been with us, and they always will be with us, and they pop up on this forum all the time. It's best not to take them seriously.

By convincing 69,456,897 American voters that his vision for America was correct. Works for me.

How Bush got re-elected in 2004: A harmonious combination of scaring Ohioans into voting for a ban on same-sex marriage while telling them that Bush would push for a federal ban on same-sex marriage too. Oh boy, did Rove love to use gays to scare people - just like Anita Bryant, another infamous homo-hater.

At least you didn't disagree with me.

But thanks for the threat. That was really nice.

You forgot the harmonious combination of hanging chads and having a brother serving as governor of Florida that put Bush into the White House in the first place. (I was going to refer to the election of 2000, but of course that one wasn't actually an election).

Yes, Fred, not exactly winning an election on merit no matter how you slice it. Shame on them. And shame on republicans for not insisting on counting those votes no matter what, because when election tampering is permitted to occur in our country it hurts everyone equally.

So when are the left and the right going to put aside grievances with one another and make sure fair elections happen??? Or will you continue to play the blame game because you don't have anything at stake in this very moment?
