No it's not. You can pretend words don't mean things but they do. You were provided the dictionary definition of it and you still want to pretend that it means something else. Thanks for playing but words mean what the dictionary says they mean.

A criminal sexual act in non-consensual and comes in the form of child sexual abuse or rape. But, what does this have to do with gay marriage? Nothing.
Predisposed behavior. Excusing one and criminalizing another based on nothing more than values-based laws. You propose one set of values should be the standard based on your belief and I base it on mine and history.

AIDS? Ok, let's talk AIDS. Gays are responsible for the creation and spread of AIDS more than any other group of people? San Francisco is obvoiusly a widely know gay city. 30 years ago someone (a gay person) contracted AIDS and spread it to others in SF. That's the big story, right?
Did I say that? No, but thanks for presuming to speak for me then argue against it.

Quote:
It was the most publicized city dealing with AIDS so stereotypical beliefs kick in and start believing that gays started/spread AIDS all over the world and are the only ones to blame.

Well, how about tracing it back to Africa where most believe it originated. Is Africa well known for gays? No. Also, nobody knows the true origin of AIDS so you can only pretend to be an expert on this.
WTH does the origin have to do with it? The whole deal of homosexuality is behavior. AIDS is decidely tied to male homosexual behavior.

"In the United States, HIV infection and AIDS have had a tremendous effect on men who have sex with men (MSM). MSM accounted for 71% of all HIV infections among male adults and adolescents in 2005 (based on data from 33 states with long-term, confidential name-based HIV reporting), even though only about 5% to 7% of male adults and adolescents in the United States identify themselves as MSM." Fact Sheet: HIV/AIDS among Men Who Have Sex with Men | Resources | HIV/AIDS and Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM) | Topics | CDC HIV/AIDS

You were all for convicting a drunk of a crime because of the potential dangers to society yet you'll give gay men a pass. 5-7% of men are causing 71% of new AIDS cases in the US for men. Sounds like something that should be criminalized. We all know how AIDS is contracted. We know how to avoid it yet this group of people you want to pretend are normal are spreading AIDS like there's no tomorrow. But hey it's just a silly analogy like conspiracy theories about the moon-landing. Afterall, who would believe the CDC when it comes to diseases, right?

Well Gay Marriage is in itself a way a putting a stamp on supporting monogamous sexual behaviour as one is committing himself to another.

Because if the founders wanted government to be run by an elite group, they would have created such a body instead of a Congress.

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

I am the one pretending words don't mean anything? Wow. This from someone who thinks child molestation is just sex.

Here's exactly what you said, "They [gays] have created an epidemic when it comes to AIDS. When it crushed their populace they fought for and continue to fight for a cure but refuse to be safe in their sexual practices."

Now here are the real facts. You're saying gays account for 71% of AIDS cases but that's clearly not accurate whatsoever. You're only including the U.S. here so the stats are overblown. There are currently 2,000,000 known cases of AIDS in North America (Worldwide AIDS & HIV Statistics Including Deaths - see the chart at the bottom of the page). With 33,000,000 cases reported worldwide that means that North America (not just the U.S.) accounts for less than one percent of the total cases. What percentage of this 33,000,000 are gay? Nobody knows so your argument is baseless.

AIDS is not a gay issue, it's a human issue.

You want to take away the will of the court. What happened to established Justice. I mean the people don't like the ruling of the court, so by virtue of this majority not respecting the rule of Justice you would have that Justice taken away...
