A female or male, non-white would be easier to spot in a crowd.
Awarding yourself minority status based on how you like to have sex is sick.
Totally agree! I cannot tell if someone's gay or not unless they reveal it to me. White, gay males can easily blend in with white straight males.

Delta Air Lines used to have a terrible record of not hiring gays. They didn't come out and ask directly, of course, but they would ask somewhat personal questions about family life, spouses, kids, etc. Again, it's not difficult to figure it out.
Are there any straight people here who truly think they couldn't figure out if a guy is gay within 20 minutes of talking with him?
*raises her hand* Yes. Unless the gay male volunteers information that would suggest that he is gay, I would not be able to tell him from a straight guy.

That being said, I'm willing to discus this...but let's at LEAST be 'up front' here..
"Christians" can't claim discrimination because they 'aren't a minority group'? I'd like to see THAT elaborated on....(what is a Christian, anyway? Anyone who CLAIMS to be ?)
"Skin color" is a minority group? Really? WHAT skin color? (There are many)
"Ethnicity" is a minority group? How, precisely? If you consider 'whites' a single ethnicity, but Mexicans, Nicaraguans, Filipinos, and Afghans EACH a 'separate ethnicity', then obviously, your results are going to be skewed.
What about different 'minority groups' who don't like EACH OTHER..is THIS discrimination, or is that 'different'?
"Minority religion" is a parameter of who may be discriminated against? 'Minority' compared to WHAT? Where? In the ENTIRE US?
Seems to me like your poll is tailored ahead of time, to give you the results you're looking for. What, exactly, is a 'minority', and who says so? And what is a 'group', and what ISN'T a 'group'? (Blacks may be a 'group'..but are CATHOLICS a group? Are liberals a 'group'? Are football fans? Are Italians?)
Your last sentence, really, says it all; in effect, "A minority is anyone I SAY is a minority....because that's the ONLY way I'll discuss the issue". With that in mind, I suppose the results of the poll will be "anything you WANT them to be"....since it's YOUR poll, and we're bound by YOUR definitions, and YOUR interpretations.

So the act of sharing the gospel with you is an example of someone dispising you? When I share the gospel with an unbeliever, it is because I CARE about that person and the condition of their soul not because I despise them. Of course, if the unbeliever does not wish to hear my message, then I'll respect that person's free will and stop sharing.

It's not just "must be bilingual" but "must be bilingual in English and Spanish". Those who are fluent in languages other than Spanish would likely not get the job. As someone with a hearing challenge, the process of trying to learn a foreign language has been difficult for me so I would not be able to obtain one of those "bilingual" positions then.

Really? How is everything stacked in the white man's favor? Earlier in this thread, someone mentioned how Affirmative Action works. If everything else is equal, the minority gets the job not the white person. How is this stacked in the white person's favor?
