During the Dust Bowl drought, "[w]ith no rain and temperatures exceeding more than 110 degrees for days on end, more and more bugs appeared. Grasshoppers swarmed over fields; centipedes by the bucketful infested houses, along with Black Widow spiders and Tarantulas." The book they're talking about (http://http://www.amazon.com/Worst-Hard-Time-Survived-American/dp/061834697X - broken link) quoted a survivor who told about tarantulas with bodies the size of apples taking over the kitchen. (As well as centipedes pouring down the walls and living and breeding under the wallpaper; another person remembered no one being able to sleep for the crawling and scratching, to the point where their mom got out of bed, heated the iron and ironed the walls until it was quiet.)

I agree with you 100% on this......I've talked to more than a few of the street variety and it was a joke to them.It is no joke to someone with a conscience or a half of a brain cell left in there head tho'.....it ruins their lives and PTSD is a ****** to deal with.

Default former gang member

yes i think in my youth in the late 80s and 90s chicago and san juan puerto rico. satan maniac diciplez gang and lloren torres housing project in san juan pr. all you see is them fall down i don't know if all of them died or not but i'm pretty sure one or two did after shot's are fired the car peels off burning rubber and we're out of sight. it happens so fast there is no slow motion feeling like the movies. just fear pumping through my heart and thinking of life sentences in prison if ever caught. did i feel bad? not at the time every incident was triggered by the death of a loved one and every victim was a killer himself is a pointless cycle that only end's for you when you're dead or in prison. i left it all behind after my twin brother carlos known as charlie pistolas was murdered in 1998.i found jesus and turned my life around and hope he forgives me for the sin's of my past
