It's sometimes more important to go after the criminals who commit an act than it is to go after people who may have been told about parts of it.
As soon as you demonstrate that you have some integrity by clamoring for the torturers to be prosecuted, then we'll start worrying about the bit players in the incident.

What sort of grey matter can compare a Congresswoman lying to the press to a President lying to the UN, the world, the Congress and the People who elected him just so he can get a bunch of people killed who didn't need to die and a bunch of other horriffic acts? Beats me, but here it is.

If its a conservative they feel its okay if their party misrepresents the facts or lies.
If its the other side they deflect or redirect by talking about republicans lied about.
The fact is that they should all be held accountable. Pelosi and company claim they are about honesty and transparency. Good prove it. Actions speak louder than words. Revealing only what the opposition did wrong is hardly being honest or transparent.
Sort of like the rhetoric of trying to find bipartisan solutions when in fact its my way or the highway approach.
Pelosi was there in the breifings in 2002, when she was a minority party member of the commitee.
