George W. Bush was a neocon. Its a form of conservatism - just not my style is all.

I think most Americans believe that helping women avoid getting pregnant is a good thing if the woman doesn't want to have a child. Condoms and birth control pills are a very cheap way of handling this. If we can spend a trillion in Iraq, we can afford condoms and birth control pills for women in the United States.

Here is a refresher in case connie decides to answer and prove me wrong:Then dont get upset when I say the same about your religion when I express my beliefs. Seriously. So hypocritical. Why do you think you can do it to me but I cannot do it to you? Please explain.

And for the millionth time (not to you but everyone), I am NOT a Hindu. I love how you capitalize Christian but not Hindu. And no, Hinduism does not claim it is the only way. Neither does Buddism or Sikhism. They're not arrogant religious like some other ones.

Another example of conservatives thinking liberals should be tolerant of their beliefs!
___________
Another classical example of I can dish it out but cannot take it.
You know ... I really don't even know HOW to respond to this as it seems that the mere act of me discussing my religion is offensive to you. Again, I'm sorry if my discussing my religion is viewed by you as a put-down of your faith. (By the way, I did not mean anything by not capitalizing Hindu, it was a typo. Sometimes I even forget to capitalize Christianity). If you want to express how your faith and how you feel it's the only way, I have no problem with that. What I found offensive was your put downs of the Bible and about MY God. When I discuss my faith with unbelievers, I take care NOT to make snide comments about their religion such as "Christmas is a fake holiday" or how the Bible is nothing but made-up fairy tales, etc. The purpose of me sharing my Christian faith is because I CARE about others and not because I want to arrogantly say that my religion is right and yours is wrong. Since one of the core beliefs of my religion IS that Jesus is the only way to eternal life, then I'd be a hypocrite for saying anything that is contrary. Again, I apologize if this is offensive to you.

Let a liberal ramble on long enough, and pretty soon, a woman with a baby in her womb is simply "being punished with a child". Is it any wonder they want abortion on demand?

The point is, conservatives are tolerant, we do not care what you do, just do not come back and force open our wallets.
"Liberals are THIS!" and "conservatives are THAT!" Boring.

I'm glad I don't see the whole world in black and white.

I would be happy to see a law banning abortion after the first trimester. Ideally, I don't think it should be permitted even then, but that would be a GREAT step.

The biggest problems tend to come when the women take their "inconvenient reminders" with them to bars, they keep smoking their pack a day, they use drugs, etc. This is actually quite common.

Then you can spend a money doing this, do not use the power of the federal government to force my wallet open. If I'm in a state that decides it wants to do this, fine, then we are talking about state's rights.

Closing your eyes to it does not make you above any of it, it just says you refuse to participate. So why did you bother to participate at all? Or are you one of those who claims nothing, stands for nothing, and says... "I'm a moderate!"? LOL

You know that I feel your pain, but the federal government has no business sticking its nose into any of this... unless the congress is prepared to write a constitutional law to stop infanticide.
