The Kennedy's are irrelevant today. Ted's about to go. Caroline couldn't make the cut. It will be a good day when American politics can no longer refer to a Kennedy in any context but the past.
They have brought Carolyn Kennedy out of hiding and she is on all the morning shows. She was on the Today Show on NBC this morning May 18th 2009. They asked her about the situation with her aborted run to be the Senator of New York. She still has not got the speech training she needs. She was terrible. I counted at least 14 "you knows"
Can someone put her under the rock they found her? If she was not a Kennedy she would be working as a grocery check out girl.
She's a bad public speaker... don't know about her intellect so I'll reserve judgment... I know some brilliant people who can't speak at all and some great speakers who can't tie their shoes.
Maybe that is what is wrong with America, our potential leaders like Ms Kennedy are so very average. So some of you are perfectly comfortable with our leaders having average speaking skills? I do not. I feel that our leaders should be excellent in all aspects of their speaking, thinking and intelligence.
We come to accept a lot less in all [speaking, thinking and intelligence].
Most of the people who are great thinkers or of superior intelligence would not enter the political arena, so it leaves us with a bunch of good talkers. Yeah, I know, Obama's a good talker, but then again, so was Reagan. We don't have a written test for the other two for politicians.
