So, no sinners allowed in the Catholic Church. It must be pretty empty on Sundays. What would Jesus do?

[Chris Wallace:] "the vast majority -- thousands of students and parents and faculty inside the Joyce Center are celebrating -- whether they're celebrating Barack Obama or celebrating the fact that their college or graduate degrees or graduate careers are ending -- they certainly are not protesting President Obama. It's been an overwhelmingly positive reception today."

[Gregg Jarrett:] "...marked by a very small group of protesters who oppose the president's views on abortion and stem cell research," adding, "But, in fact, President Obama received a very warm welcome by the graduates and the faculty there, a standing ovation."

[Steve Brown:] "the standing ovation that the president got when he got that honorary degree" "should end all speculation as to how broadly, how deeply the university community really has an affection for this particular president, regardless of their Catholic-ness, if you will."

And after weeks of hyping the expected protests, Sean Hannity conceded after the speech that Obama "got a fairly warm reception today by many."

You Faux die-hards can relive the magic of Faux's vain attempts to cause hysteria over Obama's appearance at Notre Dame at that same link.
They had little choice but to be truthful. It was televised loud and their Fringo followers were tuned in believing Obama would be shamed. Hmmmmmmmmmm oh well back to this beautiful day. Glad to see you are still carrying the torch of truth and enlightenment.

The blind can't see they can only hopefully be led. It appears that instead of stopping at the river to drink they are waddling in and drifting down stream towards the water fall. Remember my friend the mountains are on the left.

Media Matters is funded by moveon.org in part. Were you looking for affirmation? Seems like MM's is a closet Fox freak.

Quote:
Media Matters' founder and CEO is David Brock. A reporter for the conservative magazine The American Spectator in the 1990s, Brock (in the aftermath of his biography of Hillary Clinton that brought disastrous reviews) engaged in a public self-denunciation, characterizing all his past writings critical of liberal figures as a confection of lies and slanders. In Brock's present judgment, the mainstream media have fallen under the sway of conservative ideology. He believes that conservatives have moved the mainstream media "to the right and therefore they've moved American politics to the right. … I wanted to create an institution [Media Matters] to combat what they're doing."

Standing behind Brock was John Podesta (http://www.discoverthenetwork.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=1626 - broken link), a former chief of staff in the Clinton administration and the head of the "progressive" Washington, DC think tank, the Center for American Progress. In 2004 Podesta provided Brock with office space for his fledgling enterprise. Soon after, Media Matters received over $2 million in seed donations from a roster of affluent donors including Leo Hindery Jr., a former cable magnate; Susie Tompkins Buell, a co-founder of the fashion company Esprit and a close ally of Senator Hillary Clinton; James Hormel, a San Francisco philanthropist who nearly served as ambassador to Luxembourg during the Clinton administration; Bren Simon, a Democratic activist and the wife of shopping-mall developer Mel Simon; and New York psychologist and philanthropist Gail Furman. Media Matters, which can accept tax-deductible contributions under section 501(c)(3) of the tax code, has also benefited from the patronage of Peter Lewis, chairman of Progressive Corporation and a longtime consort of leftist financier George Soros (http://www.discoverthenetwork.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=977 - broken link).

Those are some extremely unbiased sources you got there.

Media Matters for America describes itself as "a web-based, not-for-profit, progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media." Media Matters for America defines "conservative misinformation" as "news or commentary presented in the media that is not accurate, reliable, or credible and that forwards the conservative agenda."[1] - wikipedia entry (my boldin')

You guys are funny... You wouldn't know what opposing sides were if they smacked you in the face and then sat on you.

Laughing about the fact that Wallace admits that only about 50 of the protesters were students.
