I think the OP needs to prove she is right, not the subsequent posters prove she is wrong.
I agree. To begin with, the article linked is from some right-wing blog. Secondly, even contributers to Clinton and Edwards are said to be Obama's "opponents", which was true during the primary season, but not afterward.
Is this the type of thing POTUS should be involved in? Most of these dealerships were very profitable - was Chrysler told which ones to close based on partisan, political thuggery by obama?
Oh, sure. Like Obama's not got bigger things to worry about?
Is it just possible (and I know Occam's infamous Razor is hard for conspiracy theory fans to wrap their minds around) that the simplest answer is the likeliest ones-- that the Chrysler PTB made the decision?
If nothing else, one would hardly think the President would want Vern Buchanan (R-Sarasota, FL) to have more time on his hands.

It's a conspiracy!
The evil Obama is applying his vengeance to those who oppose his Draconian ways.
First, you'd have to figure out what percentage of dealerships as a whole are owned by R v. D.
It 80% of car dealerships are owned by Republicans, then it's going to make sense that 80% of the ones closed are going to be owned by Republicans.
If 80% of dealerships that are underperforming are in Red States that are solidly Republican, it's going to make sense that the majority of those closed are going to be owned by Republicans.
