I'm not going to get into the left wing/right wing name calling however I will say this, would you be better satisfied if the President said NOTHING and IGNORED what is going on in America (i.e. pretend as though the country isn't in a recession) and then take his this trips - would you approve then? Quite honestly a night out on the town with his Wife and you all are all up in arms

I didn't hear ANYONE ranting about Bush spent 30% of his presidency on vacation Bush Sr. spent a little over 37% on vacation at Camp David and in Main.

I'm sorry but this nit picking is so childish and immature that it's pathetic and seemingly more and more desperate.

FactCheck.org: Was Barack Obama really a constitutional law professor? (http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/was_barack_obama_really_a_constitutional_law.html - broken link)

From the University of Chicago itself!

University of Chicago Law School > Media
Again, no experience as a lawyer, part time professor while he wrote his cheezy book. most of his lecturing revolved around constitutional law, an obscure and avoided part or the legal industry. Aside from Lincoln, none did anything good with their carreers. Most become democratic strategists or ACLU lawyers, AKA bottom dwellers. For a guy that graduated magna *** laude, constitutional law must have really excited him. A lawyer with virtually no experience. A part time law professor. No experience in his field. No experience as an excutive. No experience in economics. Community building is most the experience he has. His inexperience will harm this country for years after his departure. What does being a conservative have to do with him riding the train. I rather doubt security was a concern, it is all about IMAGE. Do as I say not as I do. I hope you will enjoy double digit inflation his term will deliver us.

No, when Obama makes a statement that things are bad and we are going to have to hunker down, that is close to being about as honest about the mess they created (politicians), and when he knows full well that thousands of GM workers will be unemployed in a few days, but goes on a "date" that could have been done just as easily in DC.

That is arrogance, as plain as it gets.

just google famous constitutional lawyers, you will see what i found. plain and simple, he wanted to know everything about the constitution so he could rip it apart d and towards his socialist agenda. Just like good general would study his foes to learn their weaknesses in order ti conquer them. The constitution is in his way so he must bend it then break it. That is his "change". Lincoln did the same but he did to keep the union intact not to create a country in his own image.

In order to separate himself from Resco, Obama admitted his role as a lawyer was very minimal and mostly worked on "paperwork" and filed that paperwork for senior members. Check this out Barack Obama and his slumlord patron :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Metro & Tri-State (http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/353829,CST-NWS-rez23.article - broken link)

The senator, relatively inexperienced in this kind of work, was assigned to tasks appropriate for a junior lawyer,'' according to an e-mail from Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs. "These tasks would have included reviewing documents, collecting corporate organizational documents, and drafting corporate resolutions.''

Again, part time professor, junior associate and fulltime liar. He was best friends with a guy that ripped off the city of Chicago for millions and worked for the lawfirm that fought off the lawsuits from the people that inhabited leaking unheated apartments Resco rented. Ask a real lawyer if he is a respected attorney. I will allow the fact that he was a professor but no real experience in the field. If I was going to be a surgeon I would prefer to be lectured by someone who actually performed surgery.

"He was never ever a law professor."

"He never worked as a lawyer."

Oh wait, he was a part time professor. Oh wait, he worked as a lawyer doing paperwork.

Oh wait.......
