Uh... not an illusion...His speech is right there saying it loud and clear.
For the nth time, it is not in his speech! Yesterday, you were being all coy, saying "I just want to know if I heard this correctly". Today, you are singing a different tune.

Here is what he said
And finally, just as America can never tolerate violence by extremists, we must never alter our principles. 9/11 was an enormous trauma to our country. The fear and anger that it provoked was understandable, but in some cases, it led us to act contrary to our ideals.

I don't see the word "over-react" in there. Where is it? In invisible ink somewhere?

Starting a war in Iraq when the Administration knew there were NO WMD there was contrary to our ideals. It was smoke screen because the Administration was spinning it's wheels when it came to finding, prosecuting and punishing al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.
If Obama had been president when 911 occured, he would have thrown a tea party and invited Rodney Kind to give his famous "Why can't we all just get a long..!" speech.
That would have solved everything, and given BO more time to play with the dog, and take his wife out dancing...
Here's a concept: post a link to what you "claim" you hear, because as of right now you have nothing as usual to back it up. It's gotten to the point on this forum where you anti-Obama people are truly living in The Twilight Zone because you are NOT living in reality.
Now if that isn't hypocritical of the liberal left!
What about the United States Justice Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public interest, legal action organization who has yet to be able to verify if Obama is legally the President.
A simple issue as a real birth certificate is still being blocked.

As opposed to starting an unnecessary war which incidently would line the pockets of his family and friends......
AND still would not bring to justice those responsible for 911.
