When a nation of free-loaders elects a delegation of unethical, lying, bastards (Congress), what are we to expect? The Fed is not independent, no matter what anyone says. They are firmly in the back pocket of elected politicians who have no concern for the taxpayers that put them there. You get what you pay for. Or at least our grandchildren will.

That's normal. What's new?

It's not the voter's that controls the government, it's the special interests (oilco, telco, big banks, pharmco, etc). Throw in political parties, NRA, Unions, corporate broadcasting (that includes FoxNews & AIB) and religious powermongers, and there is very little that we can say or do.

Wrong, they get what they pay for.

And many of those who's constant outrage, and complaints are the loudest, are exploting their position and viewpoints to thier fullest monatary gain.
