I though that was cute. Now watch all the haters call both the father and Obama irresponsible. Like none of them would take their child to see the President of the U.S. in person if they actually supported said president. Plus, nothing happens on the last day of school. Ever. She wasn't missing anything.

I could care less about this and I am what you call a "hater" because I did not vote for Obama.

No, a hater is a person who says horrible things about Obama because they hate him for various (usually ridiculous) reasons, not because they disagree with his policies. If you're the former, then yes, you're a hater. If you're the latter, you're probably just a Republican but not necessarily a hater and that's perfectly respectable.
It was a nice moment but I'm always highly suspicious of such moments when it comes to politicians. I always suspect that such moments were staged or planned ahead of time for publicity.

That's a fair suspicion. It seems pretty sincere to me though.
Regardless of how you feel, let's just enjoy having a President that at least puts forth effort to care for others. That has nothing to do with your political biases.
Sometimes we have to put our little viewpoints away and just enjoy the moment. This was one of those moments. I don't care what you think politically imagine your son or daughter getting a note from the President with his signature. How cool would that be? I would say it is very cool.
I've always voted Dem. but If I had a son he he got note like that from Prez. Bush, I'd still think it was cool. Imagine your chilld saying one of the most memorable moments in life was getting a note from the President of the United States of America. That's just way cool.
Lighten up folks, before long we'll be dead and gone. Enjoy your life. Make if free of bitterness.
Just because your candidate did not win a election does not mean you should deny yourself the opportunity to experience a "cool moment".

He wanted her out of school to keep her dumb enough to vote democrat.
I thought it was funny that the little girl's name was Kennedy.
