Africa has been existing on handouts for decades. Their leaders live off the monetary handouts.
Africa is needed for it's gold. If Africa had nothing they'd leave it in the dust like they did with Haiti.

we should give a dime to other countries. it's not the function of the US federal government to have a heart. we have enough problems here at home. the US is supposed to trade with other countries. the only thing africa gives us is worthless refugees.

yeah, here's an idea. stop aid to all other countries until we get our house in order. 3rd world places like africa use the money to strengthen the military and keep the citizens down. ask the average african if they are happy the US gives aid to africa. if it was being used correctly, people would stop migrating here.
