LOL... I expect crazy things to come from them but that takes the cake.

----edit-----

Interesting comment there that led me to this,

But now there is a new PETA story in the media and I'm hoping against all evidence that it is wrong. PETA recently filed their "Animal Record" report for 2008 with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. According to the report, PETA took in 2,216 animals in 2008. They found homes for seven of them. Seven. That means 95% of the animals PETA "rescued" last year ended up dead at their hands
Fanatics........

Are you kidding me????

Meanwhile, they're out back putting dogs and cats to sleep instead of getting them adopted

I personally don't swat any babies who are flying around the room, regardless of how annoying they get.

Gary Trudeau has commented that he's considering making a giant buzzing fly the official Obama symbol in the Doonesbury comic strip.
I think flyswatters and flypaper strips will be the gift of choice to the Obamas from visting heads of states.

PETA gives us animal lovers a bad name. Idiots.

Why anyone pays any attention to these wackos amazes me. They are ecoterrorists and should be locked up.

I try not to kill things but flies, wasps and mosquitoes are a major exception.

PETA is a fine example of allowing logic to stretch a basic premise to absurdity.

The fly that Obama swatted was probably the proverbial "fly on the wall" - a reporter from the banned FOX network. Did you notice how Obama relished swatting that fly?
He must have known.

This HAS to be a joke! PETA can't possibly be going that far???

If it's not a joke, that organization has just lost all credibility. I love animals and am an animal rights advocate. However, I get a lot of pleasure out of killing flies.
