Find one post where a supporter of our POTUS has elevated him to diety status. It's his opposers, haters who refer to him as the messiah, god, diety, etc.

Not only did George W. Bush make a speech on Father's Day in 2003, he made an OFFICIAL PROCLAMATION! Guess he was a socialist, forcing his views on an unwilling populace, too, huh? Guess he should've been focusing on important WORLD issues like the wars he started instead of wasting time making PROCLAMATIONS about Father's Day, right?

Right?

The opposition to Obama's Father's Day message is beyond ridiculous. No where is he mandating that men have to do this or that. He gives his opinion and talks about his experiences. It's apparent that the opposition didn't even read what he said. They pounced on the OPs thread title and ran naked through this thread with their misconceptions fueled by hatred.

It must be very sad and tiring when your life force is driven by hatred ....

O welly welly welly well.....more comparisons of Obama to the failed presidency of Bush. Love it!!! Just makes Obama look more pitifull than he already is. Anymore comparisons to Bushie? They are great and really reinforce what a total farce the Obama admin is.

And who told you to start declaiming that Bush's presidency was a failed one?

("And what would you do with the big, big money?")

O welly welly welly well. . . show me where any Democrat ever ridiculed, denounced, mocked, scorned or otherwise disparaged George W. Bush for making a Father's Day speech.

Now that every argument in this thread against President Obama's Father's Day speech has been totally destroyed, rather than address that fact, you do what your side always does; deflect, deflect, deflect.

Nice job!

By all accounts, President Obama appears to be a good father. He loves and takes care of his family. What I really want to hear from him would be addressed to teenage boys. Too many of them think that by producing a child or children that they are men. That culture needs to disappear if young men are to become productive individuals who raise (and I mean actually participating in the raising of their kids) productive individuals. It needs to be said that they need a good education, whether academic or trades, and need to provide for their families, both financially and morally.

If you're a good father, don't worry about it.

President Obama visit[ed] with teenage boys from Washington-area schools who met with mentors in small groups at a barbecue hosted on the South Lawn of the White House.
