It seems to me that they need to get busy and nominate someone for President with the election just over 4 months away. The man must have been very desperate with the judge to tell him something like that.

What happens if the judge takes the lawyer's words as truth? Does that take Obama's name from the Florida ballot?

Please note that this judge has been pretty important in our history just 12 years ago. It was his decision the Democrats had to appeal to the US Supreme court. Maybe he can do it again.

Obama Attorney

He's right. Obama isn't the nominee. Neither is Romney

You talking about Bush vs Gore with that 12 years ago blathering? The one that you claim the Democrats took to the Supreme Court? The Democrats didn't bring it to the Supreme Court, the Republicans did (or Bush anyway). That's why it's Bush v Gore and not Gore v Bush

I will say one thing, if this birther thing were to ever succeed it should be the total end of all civility toward the Republicans and the rightwing. It is something which the Democrats should never forgive or forget and revenge should be their top priority. Forget any let's move on or well that's in the past or any of that bull****. That's the way it should be but sadly the Democrats will probably be too wimpy

at the very least make an attempt to get a second source other than "godfather" before starting a thread.

here's another view of the florida case ( voeltz v obama) with complete video of the hearing:

Voeltz v. Obama video | Obama Conspiracy Theories

"The defense focused solely on the fact that the challenge was not valid under Florida law: no election, no nomination, no challenge. "

which is correct. Obama isn't the DNC nominee. Not yet. That won't be decided until September 3, 2012.

That's what nominating conventions are for.

Insert "Duh" here.

speaking of desperate...... this is the case that larry klayman said he quickly needed $10,000.00 back in april to fight:

First-Ever Florida Ballot Challenge Constitutional Eligibility Conference Report

"Larry also emphasized that money to fund the Florida Ballot Challenge is absolutely necessary for success. We need $10,000 within the next 10 days to move forward with this case, which could be pivotal to the entire nation."

i hope the birthers feel it was money well spent.

I think you left out a court in there somewhere. The Florida Supreme Court made a ruling before the thing went to DC. It is ok, though, since it all turned our for the best.
