The Constitution was hugely influenced by the input from Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin who were Deists, not Christians. Other Deists of the period included James Madison, Thomas Paine, John Adams, and Alexander Hamilton.

While the tenets of the Constitution may have included some Christian ideals, it was in no way intended to be a Christian document, not was the United States intended to function as a Christian nation.

The government is prohibited by the Constitution from establishing or promoting ANY religion. Everyone is free to practice their own beliefs or recognize no religion at all, at their discretion.

Uh, I wasn't commenting on your age but the age of Christian principles. Which IF the Constitution was based on them was in a sense written 20 centuries ago.

Sounds more like McCarthyism.

She sees herself as one of those left leaning, bench legislating judges and I fear that is what Obama was talking about. Old Rahm is no dummy and if he has no crisis he will lend a hand to creating one. It is too bad that this poor woman and her President have to be the butts of every crisis Rahm creates.
Just stop typing while your only behind by 20 centuries. ALL HAIL OBAMA!

When and if any congressman, governor, advisor, President, or any other gov worker-implies, weakens, demeans or try and convince the mass sheeple that our constitution is "outdated", not necessary, or needs anything more or less than what has been written (except of course for amendments)

THEY'RE A$$E$ HAVE GOT TO GO...ONE TERM, FIRED, OR IMPEACHED...PERIOD.

If There is one thing I know in this life, no matter what, under any and all circumstances that brilliant piece of paper must always stand, as shall this country must always remain sovereign. As long as all of US Americans know this, there will be hell for any and all traitors.

Sure, the Patriot Act was snuck in on us after 9/11. And it too must go. It must be one of the biggest constitutional weakeners to date. 100 years ago it would have caused another civil war, but with the pounding of today's "news?"=pure bull, and the dumbing down of America, the sheeple were "led" to believe they needed to give more rights up.

I see US headed for another civil war, this time it will be the people vs. the feds. WE will prevail, and reinstate the Constitution with more safeguards to ensure this one doesn't get corrupted by the powers that be. No Federal Reserve for one, no private central bank-controlling the other banks. lol friends telling friends what to do. Making money out of thin air hand over fist from our government and interest on US from nothing...Biggest scam ever pulled over on a people in the history of mankind
