If you don't have money you don't go to the doctor. Where have people been? The medical industry is for profit first and foremost. They don' care if you don't have money! They will smile and say sorry there is nothing we can do for you. Have a nice day. When we outsourced jobs to Asia we took away people's ability to take care to their basic needs. No government tax revenue means no social programs for the needy. It’s that simple
You have any experience with ANY medical or insurance company? Its happening already with EVERYONE who deals with medicaid and medicare patience...
And if EVERYONE(which is false as usual) who has medicaid and medicare lost it, what do you recommend they do? No system is perfect but medicaid and medicare do give people especially poor seniors a chance.
To what degree have these problems been encountered in Austrailia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cuba, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, or the United Kingdom? All of these countries, as I'm sure you're aware, have one variant or another of a UHC-based health care system, and many of them have had for quite some time. What was their experience? Did they encounter any of the problems that you raise? If so, how did they deal with them? If not, why should we alone expect to?

The UHC's in all of these countries are doing ok.
The UK has had its UHC for over 60 years now and none of these things have happened. Do some Americans feel that America alone cannot get a successful UHC running but places like Japan, Belgium Australia Uk can?

I respectfully disagree. All of the listed countries have a relatively homogeneous culture and much fewer options in the case of malpractice. My understanding is that they also have a much more limited social welfare net for poor people. We'd have to limit or dump other types of welfare to compensate for the cost of UHC.
In addition, most if not all of these countries are highly productive and export much of what they manufacture. Having a budget and trade deficit puts the US out of the possibility of enacting UHC.

So you would then confess that cutting $655 BILLION from these programs would be a bad thing? You should call Obama and tell him you disagree with his plans then..
