LOL..that is the 64K question on everyone's mind who knows some details about the first stimulus.
Gotta wonder why the government is not mentioning that and is pushing for a 2nd one.
Are there that many sheeple that ONLY watch TV for their news ?
(both sides here..I'm being non-partisan)
It's funny that with the information available, people will listen to opinions of radio and tv blabcasters. (and we must'n forget the many one view blogs and websites)
Let there be no doubt: Democrats are the party with two ideas: borrow and spend.
White House economic adviser Laura D’Andrea Tyson told an international economic conference:
“We should be planning on a contingency basis for a second round of stimulus.” Team Obama flack Robert Gibbs says the president isn’t “ruling anything out, but at the same time he’s not ruling anything in.”
Porkulus One was a massive payoff to special interests and political constituencies (and dead people!) disguised as a job generator. The Waxman-Markey “cap and trade” bill that passed the House two weeks ago contained bribes galore—including a $50 million hurricane research center for Florida Democrat Alan Grayson and a $3.5 billion economic development “sweetener” package for Ohio Democrat Marcy Kaptur.

a friendly reminder: W took over the office with a SURPLUS, eight ago.
Eight later, the SURPLUS has been transformed into a DEFICIT...
Looks like the hypocrite caucus is out in full force, where were you all the last eight years????
"Silence" ?
Plenty of outrage brought down the Fed's email system when they voted on the bankster bailout package. It was from both sides too and it was on Bush's watch, ok ?
With somewhere between 5 and 12 percent of the first package actually being used, shouldn't the question be, why is it just sitting (and is it getting interest).

a very simple fact
We were going into a recession at the end of Clintons reign.... A very simple fact...
