It is true we are all Americans. And Conservatives are more American than liberals.

Now, see, this is exactly the kind of remark that does no more than continue the divisiveness that seems to be so prevalent in this country for the last 8-10 years. (or even longer) What we all need to do is understand that, whether a person is conservative or liberal really has no bearing on whether that person is American. If they were born in this country, to American citizens or they became citizens through naturalization, they are Americans, period. There is no such thing as "more American" - one is either American or they are not.

Actually, we want OBAMA to fail, because if he succeeds, HE would have been the one to bring the country down.

If someone is trying to kill you, you want them to fail at that, don't you?

He's trying to kill this country. Haven't figured out if it's just total ineptitude or part of his plan, but regardless, we want him to FAIL at destroying the America that we know and love. We want him to fail so America will succeed.

The left is putting their love of one man over the country. It's disturbing and sick.

I blame this on Cable News. People who believe what they hear on Fox or MSNBC are getting about 25% of the story and then reject anything else. Same with Limbaugh or Air America. Every day they scream what they are told on the internet destroying any hope of an intelligent disscussion by repeating what they have been told as if it were true. They and the likes of Limbaugh have destroyed the Republican Party and are working on the Democrats

ZGACK tell me how Conservative were our founding fathers? To plot a revolution and overthrow a tyranny is not a "conservative" movement. Whether you care to admit it or not it is a liberal ideology.
Although I despise guns but I support the right to bear arms just as I support a woman's right to choose when it comes to abortion. I support gay marriages ( God they seem to be the only ones who want to get married nowadays!).
The issue with conservatives is that they seem to be stuck in their ways and reject anything that is different. What many Americans don't understand is that there is no blueprint for America. We are one of the greatest social experiments in human history were we combine so many cultures and races into one yet try to keep our own identities at the same time.
I'm hispanic but don't tell me I'm not Irish on St. Patrick's Day along with the obligatory green beer!
Cinco de Mayo is a bigger celebration in the US than in Mexico!
We are approaching the anniversary of the landing on the moon.
Was that first step on the moon a conservative or a liberal one? No it was a American one.
When the Challenger shuttle blew up in 1986 did we mourn the conservative or liberal astronauts? No we mourned our American ones.
On the morning of September 11th and those towers in New York City came crashing down with thousands of our fellow Americans we weren't liberals or conservatives or Republicans or Democrats
we were just Americans.
Sometimes we lose sight of who we really are.

Because MY version is the one that was made great by people controlling their own destiny. By folks having a work ethic and not accepting handouts. My version is the America that allows you to make as much or as little money as you want. To practice whatever religion you want without being persecuted. My America is one that allows me to walk out the door and not be afraid to speak my mind, for fear of reprisal. My America has a government that stays confined within the walls of government and (now call me crazy) -- GOVERNS. Not one that sticks their nose into everything and thinks they know best, just because they are career politicians.

My America is one where people are responsible for themselves and take care of themselves. It's the one that for 200 years has been incredibly productive and become a World leader in almost every conceivable category.

Your America is apparently whatever your precious leader tells you it should be.
