Lindzen is the classic denier. In dealing with rogue theories like his, which have become so popular through the internet, I've heard the mainstream scientists comment, "When people analyze data in a radically different way than the rest of the scientific community and reach a radically different conclusion from the rest of the scientific community the burden of proof for them should be greater, not less than the people who have refined their data and methodology over hundreds of years time"
This guy continues to use old data that has had many refinements in terms of removing known flaws, biases, and measurement errors. Reviewing the same data using the standard more rigorous protocols his conclusions turn out to be nothing short of ridiculous. If you like this sort of science I can refer you to a number of similar articles that assure you that smoking tobacco is not only safe, its good for you.
