I agree. It was. Alot of people were kind of shocked by 18 months in jail. 18 months in the county jail is pretty hard time. I would rather do twice that in the state prison. At least there you can move around. Most people thought she would get probation. The judge is just fed up with it I guess.

If people want to give their kids alcohol, I could care less. As long as they aren't letting the kid get drunk or contributing to alcoholism.
There are some teenagers out there who can be responsible about their alcohol. I'd much rather them be at home with their parent(s) who can control their drinking rather than them binge drinking at a friends house and possibly getting behind the wheel.

I think 18 months is a pretty harsh punishment.

Did you read the article? She served to a group of teenagers - not just her own. And one of the kids was involved in a drunk driving accident and died.

I didn't read anywhere in that article where she forced them to drink.....
I've been to plenty of parties where alcohol was available and I didn't take a sip...

Was this near Hazard County, GA? I know Uncle Jesse and Cooter be running that moonshine, so this could just be a front.
