Seems pretty clear, at least IMHO that the United States has become very well versed at telling it's citizens that they (the government) has the right to invade, control and overthrow foreign governments under the false pretense of "in the name of freedom and democracy". Past as well as the current U.S. President have become experts at lying and telling the American people and Congress that attacking, overthrowing and controlling foreign resources and governments "in the name of freedom" is the right thing to do. Consequently, the President and his war monger supporters gain the full support of the American people and a blank check from the U.S. Congress to invade, attack and wage war.

"Freedom and Democracy" is all part of the propaganda tag line to sell to the masses as if our wars having a moral calling when it is always about wealth or control.

We do not even have Democracy in this country and any mention as such is torn down with we are a Republic. Not to mention the loss of Freedoms.

Politicians know that as well, but it is better to suck in the gullible flag waving idiots with it.
