Sarah Palin's lawyer threatened to serve a blogger with libel papers at the kindergarten where he works for writing a post saying the former Alaska governor was getting divorced.
I can't believe all you bullies. Well bullies are like that. They beat someone down for so long and when they stand up and say ENOUGH the bullies go, Why I never knew you were so thin skinned. Give us a break!!!!!
A lot of marriages that have a handicap child have a high divorce rate then with all the rest of the crap it's a wonder if they stay together anyway. The bullies would love to see their marriage break up. Like my friend said what had been done to Sarah Palin is criminal.

regardless of where this guy is served, suing him is frivolous.
there is no evidence that there was malicious intent or that this rumor did any harm to palin, and so far no one has even been able to say how it *could have* caused her harm. palin is just needlessly tying up court time pursuing this. there is no evidence of malicious intent. barely anyone took it seriously in the short time before it was denied. rumors about public figures start and end on the internet every day.

Oh, bully, schmully! This is politics! I can remember when Kennedy was pres, there were rumors about an impending divorce. I can remember when Nelson Rockefeller actually DID get a divorce, what a firestorm there was about that. I don't condone this stuff and I don't do it myself. But she is terribly thin-skinned to get off on this issue!
I can't really say that I blame her but, by the same token, if she can sue this guy for lying about her on the internet then the birthers had better start hiring lawyers.
The difference is they weren't taken to court so they couldn't do their jobs. Alaska should have a law against frivilous lawsuits. Maybe they will pass one now.
I think it hurts her kids. She said she is a mama bear. Too bad no one took her at her word.
If she didn't want her children thrown into the spotlight, that was completely within her control. She did this to her children and NO ONE ELSE.
As for rumours of divorce, would anyone really be surprised, Statiscally Republicans have a higher divorce rate then Democrats. How is that a malicious thing to say about someone.
I don't get the whole thing about Trig not being her biological child. SO what if she did adopt this child, how would that be a BAD thing, although I assume people in Alaska saw her pregnant. That seems childish to even get into. Plenty of people adopt children for whatever reason.

The divorce rate in marriage with a handicapped child are in the 80% based on the extra needs of the child. Add into that this whole political mess, I should imagine there is alot of pressure in that marriage but I don't see how that is anyones fault but Sarah's.

Did she expect to swan into the spotlight and no one take a second glance at the tablau being played out in order to garner attention and votes?? She wanted to be THE woman to show that family values mattered, so show off your family. She wanted to be THE woman to show off that abortion was not right by showing off her handicapped baby and her pregnant underage daughter.
