I guess I will have to buy one before the next Democratic Town Hall. It is funny the way the Republicans throw that term around. I guess if you work for a living, this is how low the Republicans think of you. You are no better than a mugger- a criminal- for daring to stand up for your rights. For daring to try to make a living for yourself and your family! So I guess that makes you a "union thug". Welcome to the club!

At the time of the transit workers strike (I'm one of 'em) in New York at the end of 2005, Mayor Bloomberg demonstrated his thorough understanding of the situation--and demonstrated his sensitivity--by publicly referring to us as thugs. I demand my Union Thug t-shirt!

I guess the potestors will have to wear their "perceived racist" tee shirt then as Dems believe anyone protesting against Obama's policies must only be doing so because he's black.

I used to belong to IAM until I quit because I got tired of paying $700/yr for the same wages and benefits I could get anywhere else. I never got screwed by the company nearly as bad as I did by the union. Keep the unions, and keep the shirt.

I suggest that union members, who already have contracts guaranteeing their healthcare provision, should not be involved in these meetings at all.

How 'bout that?

A few years back my client at the time, a major telco, was dealing with a Communication Workers of America strike. I thoroughly enjoyed crossing the CWA picket line outside my client's office building every single day. And I also enjoyed assisting the client in training the replacement workers too. I love right to work states!

Just got back from NY on Friday, and I told my wife while I was there that I'd rather watch a bus driver n New York than a Wallenda trapeze act.

Hats off, Fred. America needs more thugs if you guys are typical.
