First, obama accused doctors of performing unnecessary tonsillectomies for money, now he accuses doctors of wanting to amputate your feet instead of applying preventative treatment for your diabetes.

Does this moron know what an idiot he sounds like?

Where is he getting this made up crap?

YouTube - Obama: Doctors Choose Amputation Because Surgeons Get Paid More Than Physicians

This is really so pathetic - he has such a nasty, vile habit of demonizing people to try and make his points.

I happen to have a close family member with diabetes - had it since he was a child. His insurance company is responsible, attentive, and on the ball when it comes to his preventative care and testing as well as saving him money with his prescriptions. The have been MORE than helpful.

He is 100% right! They do not get much for treating Diabetis. They might get some kick back cash from Pharma for prescribing Metformin or Glucophage but nothing when you compare that to the jackpot they get for cutting off body parts. A doc is no different than a car mechanic. A car mechanic always prefers to replace parts rather than fix things!

If you think it's made up crap prove him wrong, let's hear something from you besides vitriol for once missy expert.
You might think the ONE denigrating the doctors would provide the proof, wouldn't you?

Obama clearly shows that he has no clue about doctors or their decision making processes. I have never known of any primary care doctor who referred a patient with a diabetic foot to a surgeon before having exhausted all other efforts. Obama's logic escapes me. How does the primary care doctor benefit from referring the patient to a surgeon for amputation? Does he assume the surgeon gives the primary care doctor some kind of kickback? Does he assume the surgeon will take over non surgical care of the diabetic foot? Obama is not doing himself any favors spewing such nonsense.

Doctors are bad.
Insurers are bad.
Drug companies are bad.

Government is good. They are here to help.

Why don't they just expand medicaid and start charging above a certain income on a sliding scale ?
I'd rather pay "some" taxes to subsize part of it then the various plans they are proposing.

That solves the problem of anyone who wants insurance.

He has no logic. He just makes Moderator cut: language up that he thinks will sound good and advance his point.
