The real answer to this topic has been sidestepped by other posters in order to be "PC".I am not "PC".Most of the hosts and interviewers on the the so called serious Sunday news programs are older white males.Most of the guests on these shows are older white males.The reason?It is because older white males still hold the reins of power in the United States.They still run most things.Accept it or not,like it or not,this is the way things are.This is the way things have been since since the inception of our nation,and quite frankly,things are not going to change for a very long time,perhaps not ever.
I often wonder why we see so few females and minorities on Sunday morning. Do people think that blacks, Mexicans and women cannot do serious news? That they can only do "entertainment"?? Let's take a sampling!

I wouldn't know, I'm in Church on Sunday Mornings, with a lot of other "liberals", while the neo-cons are home with their TV news talk shows, learning what to whine about next. It's no wonder, the "morals" of conservatives makes it clear they stay home to watch hannity or whatever crap it is they watch instead of listening to God.
You know what else I am sick of, every time I turn on rap music, it is
always young black males.
Why can't I hear some more middle aged white rappers, where is the
mexican, chinese, and japanese rappers. Why isn't there any diversity?
This OP is racist for sure. There is no quota. The best people for the jobs get the jobs, same way as in everything
else. Check in the White House if you are going to respond that you don't have a fair shot at anything.

That and the fact that whites make up around 70-75 percent of the US population. Do you think that could be part of it (sheer numbers)? So...if nearly 3 out of 4 people in this country are white, why would it be different demographically in anything? I don't know, but it makes sense to me. It also depends on what people choose as a profession. Higher population and more people choosing that field than other races ='s even more of a disproportionate representation.
