I doubt that, Alan Keyes is about as conservative as it gets, he's against welfare, illegal immigration and more.

Barack Obama is president, honestly alot of people just have a problem with a black man reaching that level of success in this country, let's get back to reality now please.

True. They wouldn't have liked Powell and yes I believe many Repubs did vote for Obama.

You know. I never, ever hear anyone say they don't like Obama because of race. Republican or Democrat. I never hear it.

The only time it seems to come up is in the media. I think it is made up and is an attempt to silence criticism.

I live in rural Tennessee. The county I live is almost entirely white. Like 99% white. And I never hear it. And it's not like I haven't met plenty of people around here that don't like blacks. Funny thing though, those people tend to be democrats.

I'm not a republican either. Just what I have observed. Repubs aren't concerned about race. Democrats are obsessed with it.

And I voted for Keyes in a primrary once. He can't get elected because all he talks about is abortion. It's a non-issue.

Now all of a sudden the republicans don't like Obama because he's black? LOLs. Stupid. If republicans were racist they never would have wanted Colin Powell in the first place.

And gangsta, Anarchists are not on the left. Anarchists believe in no government. Leftists believe in large, powerful government. They are as far away from each other as you can get.
You really don't know what Leftism is do you? Anarchists and Socialists are indeed on the Left, they have one very big--and very central--principle in common. Ant idea what that is? I bet you don't.

That is leftist propaganda put forth to divert attention from what the protest is really about. The majority of conservatives don't care a bit about what race the President is or isn't. Race is realitively unimportant!

What those protestors object to are the politics of the President because those politics have already affected the financial lives of generations of our grandchildren. The protestors also have legitimate concerns that the healthcare reform will (eventually) result in loss of freedom of healthcare options for them as individuals (many of them seniors).

The majority of conseratives would gladly support a CONSERVATIVE black presidental candidate such as Michael Steele (for example) should he run for office. The race issue is a falsehood purposely pushed by the left to deny the truth that it is primarily the policies of the administration that cause objection. That way far-left can dismiss those in idealogical disagreement with them as bigoted thereby slanderously smearing their opponents credibility.
Rep. Lynn Jenkins says the GOP needs a ‘great white hope’ to thwart President Obama.

Some of these people seem to know know this.

Liberals did not elect Obama, the left side of the conservative and the independents did.

There are far more conservative thinking people in American then liberal and those same people are those who got fooled badly by the moron and are standing up against him and his actions.

Stop making excuses OP, the issues are not race based at all and you know it.

His record alone is enough for impeachment.

Who gives a rats arse what color the man is, either way he is a total idiot who is also a total FAILURE.

Nice scare tactic but there is no race problems with this issue.

He needs to be fired for doing such a lousy job.

Please tell me that you don't think that objecting to illegal immigration and welfare makes one a racist?
I am the daughter of an immigrant and I don't believe in ILLEGAL immigration, nor did my father. As to welfare, people should work to be paid. (I am not talking about unemployment benefits for those who LOST a job.) That applies to anyone of any race. Nothing to do with race once again.

As to reality, are you actually saying that you believe that all those senior citizens out there at town halls are there because they are more concerned about the president's skin color than about their own healthcare options in the future? You MUST be joking if you expect anyone to believe that they are inconveniencing themselves from their daily routine for any other reason than their own self-preservation and the financial well-being of their decendants.

Right, like that never happened before! Do you remember at least reading about the civil rights movement?

See above. Many of these seniors were young adults during the civil rights movement, when many whites protested against blacks gaining the same rights they had (to sit where they wanted in a restaurant or on the bus, to go to the college of their choice, etc).

Default Politicans vs. People

In response to that I can only say that POLITICANS of both parties have said terrible things that hopefully the majority of their own base doesn't support.

It is likely that those same majority of conservatives would NOT support Rep. Lynn Jenkins (Rep. idiot) while they would support Repubican Party Chairman Michael Steele (intelligent spokesman).

For example I don't believe that the majority of democrats support the horrible things House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said about senior citizens who came to town halls to express concern about their future choices in healthcare.

Most regular people don't talk or think like the pols, thank God. Now if we could only get them (our supposed representatives) to quit grand-standing and making it harder for regular people to communicate rationally.
