Israel stole land that belonged to other people what in the world do you expect them to do? Sit there and let there land be stolen? They have nothing left so they fight back. The time will come when israhell will not no friends left and will be wiped from the earth as a country. I guess the 1 good thing about having a democrat in office is he wont do anything to stop Iran from getting nukes which is great.
Um...no after WWII the land was given to them by the allies for the millions of displaced Jews.
Europe has drew and redrew the territorial lines in the Middle East since the Roman Empire.
Talk about land being stolen, let's give the US back to the Natives, and give the lower West coast back to Mexico. ain't gonna happen
Whoops here goes another 800 million to rebuild Gaza.
Why should Israel care? They blow it up and we pay to rebuild it.
Hmmm Kind of reminds me of what rich parents do for their spoiled kids.

When Natives litigate treaty claims, I am uniformly on the side of the Natives.
In Palestine there is no treaty to litigate. The Arabs were on the right side in 1948, they chose to fight rather than let 55% of their country be handed over to a 30% minority of aggressive immigrants, and they are still right today.
If you wish to know why the Odawa and Chippewa signed treaties rather than fight, ask them--it's not my business.

In the end, the Arabs lost.
All natives did NOT sign treaties and some of them did indeed fight. In the end, they lost.
Mexico and Spain fought us in different times (they both lost)...etc.
As someone stated earlier, every single country on this planet existed as a different entity in years past.
and the "nation" of Israel wasnt formed untill 1948
The whole of the Middle East and Central Asia was not demarcated until mid 20th century. Many of these peoples were and are still tribal-pastoralists and the concept of a nation-state and borders are quite foreign. These cultures more identify to a tribe than to a nation state.
Jews have been Jews forever and have been living in and around Jerusalem for just as long. Jews are not immigrants and have been living there ever since.
Palestinians are Muslim Arab. Muslim Arabs control 99% of the Middle East. The few Arabs who lived around Jewish towns found themselves under Jewish control and took up arms. They control 99% of the land.
After Israel disengaged from Gaza, they received 7,000 missles, rockets and mortars at civilian targets.
Hamas runs Gaza. Hamas are fundalmentalist islamofacists, the same types who took down our towers. The PLO still in Arabic calls for the murder of Israeli citizens.

A contract signed under duress (i.e. a Native tribe signing a "treaty" in the face of Manifest Destiny) is not a valid contract. But if your justification for living on stolen land gets you through the night, more power to you. Not your business indeed. I'd look the other way too.
But to stand in judgement of others as you do with Israel - especially when you are factually ignorant (who exactly is the "their" you speak of? 55% of what "country" do you speak of? You don't mean the British Mandate do you?) smacks of hypocrisy at the least.
But hey, it makes for a fun if useless argument on the internet!
