If you need an 4x4 SUV, then buy one.

If you think that buying an hybrid or electric car fits your needs or desires, buy one.

If you can ride a motorcycle year round, god bless you.

I think everyone can agree that the current auto market has finally provided buyers with the broadest range of choices and folks should buy what is best for there circumstances.

Although I still reserve the right to call into question anyone's sanity for buying a Hummer H2 for being nothing more than a cosmetically altered Tahoe! Buy the Tahoe and save some money!

And I suppose you think that Democrats don't buy "Euro-cars"? Is that your claim?

I think that people are entitled to spend their money any way they want and I do not intend to exchange my 10 year old Mustang for an electric car.

But I also recognise that technology is changing rapidly and what may have been impracticable 10 years ago may be very realistic 10 years from now.

After all, in my own lifetime, i have seen the arrival of color TV, man walk on the moon, the DVR recorder, the DVD recorder, the PC, the fax machine, the cell phone, the internet, etc., etc.

Naturally, Audi are going to rubbish the idea. Its a bit like a turkey telling you that Thanksgiving is overated
