No, I am no communist sympathizer. Nor do I sympathize with a "modern form of fascism" that seems to be on the rise with unfair policies that seem to protect and ensure profits and allow a monopoly to certain corporations; EG. certain US drug companies to name a few.

I do not hate this country, but I am not blind to its problems. Just like having a relative with many faults. You may still love that relative, but may not be blind to the many problems. Same thing. One thing I will not do is bury my head in the sand and be naive and gullible and believe the lies and propoganda that some politicians or lobbyist will preach, in order for them to succeed in their twisted, unjust ways.

Was Saddam a ruthless dictator who should've been overthrown (by the Iraqi people), beaten, and left to bleed to death in a vat of pig entrails?

Sure.

But to claim the Iraqi people are better off under US occupation is ignoring plain reality.

Saddam killed off a few hundred thousand of his own people, something the US is also guilty of in our short history as well. But the vast, by far, majority of Iraqis enjoyed life in a safe environment, including all of the infrastructure YOU are enjoying ATM, like clean water, able to pop off to the market in safety, education, medical services, safe roads and streets, religious equality, etc.

Now think, how does that compare with the reality of Iraq today?

I suggest you Bush hating fools put down your mikey moore videos of flying kites to the tune of koombaya over in Iraq under Sadaam. Your all fools if you actually think that. I guess you thought that living under Hitler's reign was utopia too.

What the hell did you say?

It doesn't matter if providing healthcare to 31 million people is cheaper than providing healthcare to 300 million people. The fact that we are paying for healthcare for ANOTHER COUNTRY, especially one that HATES THE UNITED STATES. But at the same time we refuse to do the same for our own country/people. Its absurd.

That's not American hating, it's the truth. It's just too bad you are such a sucker and believe anything on TV/Radio.

"USAID, in partnership with UNICEF and WHO, helped the Ministry of Health (MoH) build capacity to enhance policy, increase access to healthcare, and improve essential services for mothers and children. Technical specialists work closely with communities to increase participation and improve primary healthcare services. USAID spent about $150 million in health projects in Iraq - nearly a quarter of the more than $600 million in health being invested overall by the U.S. government in Iraq.
Most of USAID's health activities ended in Summer 2006. USAID is continuing to coordinate with Iraq's Ministry of Health and other donors to ensure that these efforts are continued.
STRENGTHENING HEALTH SERVICES

USAID helped strengthen essential healthcare services throughout Iraq. Through training and technical assistance programs, USAID and UNICEF helped to build the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Health to improve services. These programs help ensure sustainable growth and development of the health sector."

Obama uses 150 million to wipe his arse every day you fool. Nobody is "providing" healthcare to Iraq. Why don't you ***** about UNICEF and the WHO for not helping out the old USofA? Hey that 150 mill is what % of the stimulous? Maybe you can help us all out with some ciphiren.

You are missing the point, which is not a surprise to me. We should have NEVER attacked Iraq. You have been scammed by a government that you keep defending, and you look like a fool.
