Unless someone can EXPLAIN this bill and give some DETAILS - I don't want to hear anyone, GOP or DEM wasting space running their mouths.

I still don't have basic answers to very basic details about this plan. We already knew the stuff about insurance caps and pre-existing conditions.

This was just some feel good language mixed in with some tough guy stuff - explaining nothing of importance at all.

How much will it cost? And what is the TRIGGER MECHANISM?

I didn't think he stated anything differently. He is not changing his policy of endorsing a Public Option. He is not replacing the Public Option with a Trigger. He made no mention of trying to achieve bipartisan support. Obama mentioned goals without specific plans to achieve those goals such as stating that people would receive more under their current health plans and it would be cheaper.

He superficially mentioned concern for defensive medicine practices but made no specific mention of Tort reform. It seems like this was an attempt to appeal to doctors but it was rather weak.

In essence, I think he said the same things. It was just a different speech saying the same thing. I'm very disappointed and I think this speech just doomed him. He will be done in 4 years. I knew this would happened and called out the media.

So I'm assuming you obviously want all illegals nationalized so they can pay for their healthcare.

Not sure if that's such a good idea concidering how many other illegals will run for the border right away.
