It seems to me that the aftermath of 9-11 took away freedoms and liberties from normal americans. there has not been a single attack since 9-11. we are forced to remove our shoes, empty our contents, possibly get searched and pay all of the additional fees tacked on to the total price. No other country puts its citizens through this, does it?
Perhaps, they could have put a "sunset provision" on it so that it would automatically expire by a date certain. I think that any american president would now be extremely reluctant to remove the requirements b/c he/she would not want an attack to happen and be seen as "light" on defense.
I am all for the removal of TSA from the airports. I do not feel safer for having them there. since people with th e intent can still get things past them, whats the point? They place the law abiding in a position where we have fewer liberties and are lined up in airports like animals being herded for slaughter. The whole purpose was to play off of fear and remove civil liberties. I say get rid of them and reinstate the freedoms. Take Homeland with them while you are at it.
When the administration ignores numerous reports about attacks what good does it do to create these expensive do-nothing agencies?

Well the Obama government doesn't want to call it war on terror so let's eliminate all things and see for how long we will be safe!
I have no problem with the security at the airports. It is a minor inconvenience passing through the security checkpoints.
