One of the bills had language restricting illegals but NO WAY to enforce the provision.
Imagine if all we had at the airport were laws and signs saying "No terrorists allowed, no explosives allowed on the planes, no guns or knives." Now imagine that we didn't have any security checks or requirement to show ID before boarding the plane. THAT is the kind of language found in only one of the 5 bills. Do you think that is thorough enough, legislation without enforcement?
Why does enforcement have to be taken up simultaneously with this bill, possibly opening a whole secondary line of division? Why not separately address identification verification? Social security, medicare and medicaid all separately address the issue.
In fact, since the public provider's benefits would fall under the umbrella of federal benefits, and HR 3200 explicitly states no federal benefits to illegal immigrants
Illegals would not be eligible for "affordability credits" - it said nothing about restrictions for them to buy into a public option.
That has now been corrected, supposedly, due to Wilson and others calling obama on the carpet.
It was in the original bill, you can read it on Newsweek.
Obama was correct when he said his plan wouldn't insure illegal immigrants; the House bill expressly forbids giving subsidies to those who are in the country illegally. Conservative critics complain that the bill lacks an enforcement mechanism, but that hardly makes the president a liar. FactCheck? They blew this one.
FactCheck: "President Obama's prime-time address to Congress and the nation on health care prompted a Republican congressman to shout "you lie!" Did he? Here's what we've found:

FactCheck gets it wrong. Not only did they flub Obama's quote, it's also true that at least some of the reforms in the House bill DO apply to those who are here illegally...

If you want to shout out that a person is a liar, break decorum and make a righteous fool of yourself you better be right.
Joe Wilson was right. The Congressional Research Service's legal analysis supports Joe's assertion.

No matter how many times you repeat it, your assertion won't magically become true.
Never said MSNBC or CNN has imbelished or stretched the truth. That's the one good thing about the internet and the remote control, I could research the story to find the truth and change the channel when its found they are lying. The one think I could say about the other channels, they will either lead off their reporting or end the reporting with a clarification on what they reported on. I have YET to see that from Hannity, I have seen it from O'reilly.
Try again
You are aware that FOX news has many news segments and also many commentary segments don't you? Hannity does not make up all of FOX news. I rarely watch hannity and never watch O"Reilly because he cannot seem to get through one show without some kind of soft porn and I have children in the house.

Fact Check is run by left wingers! We all know they view facts through eyes of indoctrination and propaganda.

It is true, hence the Time Magazine story of the Senate Dems backtracking to add citizen verification to their bill. I know you can't accept that - that's your problem.

Why do you think that is?
(Hint: What is the beginning date of the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements program?)

Senate Dems made changes to THEIR bill. That's the key, isn't it? There are multiple bills, each with its own little quirks and language. And the President said HIS proposals for reform. So right there, the President didn't lie. But if you want to take HR 3200, as a model, even then, it's not a lie, because the proposed law didn't extend any new benefits to illegals that they don't currently enjoy. They can apply for private insurance today and it's so perfectly legal that even your sacred CRS analysis mentions the significant number of illegal immigrants who currently have private coverage.
That you are insisting on your argument, that's YOUR problem.
