I don't care that you, or even a professor, think you know who is at fault for the downturn. When you come up with a paper that purports to know how to fix the problem, I promise to read it. I want a fix not a scapegoat.

And you know what? To make the unemployment figures not seem so bad, they are not also taking into account, like they used to, the underemployed and those working part-time that used to be full time or those who have been forced into early retirement. If they did we'd be up around 18% or 20% unemployment.
It's over 20%..shadowstats knows all and uses the old calculations of the raw data to show real apples to apples comparison.

from your point of view the higher the taxes the better...so if Obama were to raise everyone's taxes by 100% we would all be better off...interesting economics 101

Poverty at 11-Year High - And Still Rising - CBS Evening News - CBS News

Did you forget that George Bush (Republican) was in office for the past EIGHT YEARS and that Obama has been President for EIGHT MONTHS?

The current economic mess is not Obama's fault nor doing; it's the mess he walked into as President and I'm sure the dung is far deeper than he anticipated.

Bush and his traditional GOP politics (pro-Rich, screw the poor) brought this to our doors.

Have you forgotten the dems have controlled congress for 2 3/4 years????

And one of them was Obama.

Goodness, trillions of dollars and you still turn the other way.

Obamas watch, Obamas spending and Obamas economy period.

Dems control congress and have the idiot in the WH.

What more do you want?

How much more time do you want? 3 years?
