People PAID to hear the speeches and the reporters were standing right beside them so they could not hear. FOX got the same treatment. I do fault them for not arrainging a better location for the reporters.
The reporters could have asked where they wanted them to be instead of ignoring the request and continuing to disturb the people they were right beside.
You can see them coming, from rows away, to complain about the reporter who is talking in hushed tones at the back of the room.
I guess I missed the section in the First Amendment where it said that the right of the press to interrupt other people speaking, and interfere with other people listening, shall not be infringed.
As Gary Siete said, the reporter was addressing the camera in a very subdued tone.
Obviously these "values voters" don't value freedom of the press.
