So, things can't change?

Care to explain Libya?

You know, one of those state sponsors of terror you're whining about?

Yeah. Quadaffi realized he was on the list of things to do for Bush. He decided the nuclear way would not be beneficial to his health.

So, you believe sponsors of murder should be allowed to buy their way out of guilt? Gee, how much ya think it'd cost bin Laden to buy his way out? Or maybe he already did when Bush was selling absolution? Great government, depose a man who did NOTHING to the US and welcome a sponsor of MURDER with open arms. WHAT a load of hypocritical NeoConfused BS!

You can't actually believe that bilge propaganda, can you?

Iran hasn't invaded another country since around 1780. To say that's not true of Israel and the United States would be a hilarious understatement.

That was the theory about Iraq too. Although iraq had WMD's, (chemical weapons) and that's all they had, they possessed no ICBM capability. Americans, and congress persons alike were duped. The US has weapons so sophisticated, we probably do not even have missile silos anymore. We probably have other defense systems to take their places. And, besides all of that, most countries already know what the US will do if we're struck by any type of weapon. I believe President Obama has the gonads to retaliate.

The US dollar is worth €0.66, yes that's 2/3 of a Euro.

Our economy is in the toilet and we're subsidizing an economy that's significantly stronger than ours.

The missile shield doesn't work, that's been well known for years.
Yes, I suppose you can occasionally be correct about something
Seriously though, the collective Euro-zone economy is the largest on Earth. The US has taken care of Europe's defense since WWII but now that the Soviet Union has been gone 20 years why on Earth do we still spend a penny for them? And I include the bases we keep in Germany in this. This subsidizing of defense is one reason Western Europe has been able to afford such lavish social programs.

I think the EU will finally grow some teeth unless it assumes Russia will never be a threat again. And this is unlikely.

Please don't insult me like that. You know nothing about me. Conservative, Liberatrian, Independent? Take your pick. I don't subscribe to anybody's labels. However, I know that I'm one of Pelosi's crazed, unamerican, unpatriotic mob. I enjoy my tea parties, love Glenn beck and I relate to much of what Buchanan said, and supported Ron Paul.
Poor baby, you don't want to be labeled yet you label and demean those who don't think like you.

You might want to learn what a double standard is.

I wish they would cancel all MDS outside of our own nation. I'm sick of subsidizing other countries defense, while our own infrastructure, schools, and health care system (or lack there of) crumples due to being underfunded. If Poland (or Europe) want a MDS let them build it.

I'm really getting tired of the NeoConfused idiots in this country. We can't spend money on anything domestically in this country like health care, high speed rail, education, broadband, because that's "socialism" and wasteful spending, but yet they have no problem on spending trillions on missile defense systems, nation building to spread "freedom and democracy", and bases overseas so the boogeyman won't get us. Give me a freaking break.

And what did we get from obama throwing the allies under the bus and capitulating to Russia?

Russian aggression, of course.

Vladimir Putin threatens Barack Obama's nuclear stockpile cuts - Telegraph

Quote:
In a notable toughening of rhetoric, Mr Putin insisted his country would develop new "offensive" weapons systems before it considered cutting nuclear warheads.

In July, he declared his intention to "reset" troubled relations between the United States and Russia.

Two months later, he dismayed US allies in Europe by ditching Bush-era plans to set up a missile defence shield in Poland and the Czech Republic, which were previously behind the Iron Curtain.

But the olive branch has yielded little if anything in return.
Completely predictable. They know when a person can be rolled.

They've had more than enough chance to see obama in action and they like what they see.

A US president to be bullied, intimidated and played with.

Poor baby, picking and choosing unrelated quotes like that. Either you're confused, or you are defending Khamenei. It looks like the latter to me.
