There is only one thing worse than one-party autocracy, and that is one-party democracy, which is what we have in America today.
Our one-party democracy is worse. The fact is, on both the energy/climate legislation and health care legislation, only the Democrats are really playing. With a few notable exceptions, the Republican Party is standing, arms folded and saying “no.” Many of them just want President Obama to fail. Such a waste. Mr. Obama is not a socialist; he’s a centrist. But if he’s forced to depend entirely on his own party to pass legislation, he will be whipsawed by its different factions.
Just because Obama is on a path to give America the Romney health plan with McCain-style financing, does not mean the Republicans will embrace it — if it seems politically more attractive to scream ‘socialist'.
The G.O.P. used to be the party of business. Well, to compete and win in a globalized world, no one needs the burden of health insurance shifted from business to government more than American business. No one needs immigration reform — so the world’s best brainpower can come here without restrictions — more than American business. No one needs a push for clean-tech — the world’s next great global manufacturing industry — more than American business. Yet the G.O.P. today resists national health care, immigration reform and wants to just drill, baby, drill.
“Globalization has neutered the Republican Party, leaving it to represent not the have-nots of the recession but the have-nots of globalized America, the people who have been left behind either in reality or in their fears,”

Oh please. The democratic party is trying to shove through legislation the people do not want and Obama did not help matters when he lied about transparency. Republicans, Libertarians, Independents, and non-affiliated people who disagree with Obama's agenda are not the boogey man.

That's right. I changed to non-affiliated from Democrat. I don't agree with the agenda one bit.
I approve of a party that says "no" to legislation that is Unconstitutional. If you can find anywhere in the Constitution which permits the Federal Government to legislate a healthcare plan please post that part here. If you can, I will just say it's a stupid socialist policy, otherwise it's a stupid socialist policy and Unconstitutional too.
Our current crop of ruling politicians act like a very spoiled ADD third grader on a bad sugar high treating everyone in the toy R us to his screams of demands while they storm up the store isle sporting a large, foul smelling wet spot on the back of their soccer shorts.

Democrats control the White House and the Congress.
What difference does it make if Republicans support your ding-bat ideas or not?
You and I both know your problem isn't with Republicans who have been shut out of every negotiation.
You may remember Dear Leader saying, "I don't want the people who created the problem to do a lot of talking".
OK, fine, but we all realize the real issue is the left has run full speed into a brick wall of resistance from the voters, not Republicans.

I didn't realize that the insurance exchange idea came from Romney.
Republicans would say no to their own ideas if it meant going against the president.
Stupid sh** republicans.
Do your jobs.

You'll have to wait your turn, we're still trying to find where in the Constitution the government is tasked with nation-building and allowed use of the military to do so.
