They are nothing more than feel good numbers for the masses.

Not "going anywhere"? Which of Obama's plans has he not accomplished yet? To this point Obama has gotten everything he's wanted.

That is why Republicans cry and whine daily on this forum.

When will you people get it, polls means nothing. Votes at the end of elections what counts. Remember when polls said that Mccain was 3% back, resulting in a land slide for Obama.

If polls mean "nothing" why does every politician, news agency, political strategist in the World use polling? Do you know a better way to judge public opinion other than polls? Oh that's right we do have elections. How did that last one work out for you Republicans? Obama won by SEVEN percent!

Ya isn't it weird how you quote realclearpolitics and yet neglect to quote Obamas job approval average which is 53.2%?
It's all right there in the link - all the polls.

Considering his approval number used to hover around 70%....well, you get the meaning.

Wow. Even Gallup has him at 51. Rasmussen 49%. Democracy Corps 52%.

It seems his speech and media blitz is having the opposite effect he hoped for.

He is overexposed and has been for months.
Overexposed is the understatement. And whose fault is it? In my entire years of life (a lot) I can never remember a President that enjoys being in front of the camera the way he does. Keep it up Mr President.

I think Nixon was criticized for being reclusive. I'd rather have a pres. who is up close and personal.

He does appear to be on the "Love me, I'm Barack Obama" tour everyday. Time for him to get off the TV and get to work.

I have no trouble with the numbers we get here but I try to pay more attention to the daily polls from Rasmussen because they tend to be more accurate because they are daily in nature and that is more real as far as how people really feel. When he gets back to daily campaign style speeches the daily numbers will be better.
