He didnt pardon Scooter Libby, ignoring pleas from Dick Cheney. That took some courage and independence, something rarely seen over his two terms.

He is trying his best to address the issues that matter most to his urban-based constituents in a record-breaking pace.

Bush worked hard to keep himself in good physical condition. Biking, golf and clearing brush.

I always thought Bush's clumsiness was very endearing. It humanized him so much to see that grin on his face when he couldn't get that door to open. I do that all the time. So it was something I could relate to.

You type "OBAMA did avert the economic depression that was predicted last fall."
Predicted = because they told you it was so !
Do you get it now?
Ya I get it. You did not address not a single one of my points that indicates improvement in the economy.

When you question who "they" is how about the CONSERVATIVE Wall Street Journal?
"The bottom line is that there is ample reason to worry about slipping into a depression. There is a roughly one-in-five chance that U.S. GDP and consumption will fall by 10% or more, something not seen since the early 1930s."

Now you will likely proceed to tell my that the WSJ has no credibility and is a liberal rag?

Oh, something good about bush? As a conservative, I have to say that will be a little hard

OK -- I think he stepped up to the plate admirably after 9/11. Yes, 'you don't mess with Texas' is hokey - but it felt good to know that the azhats who destroyed the towers would be found. It was like having John Wayne as potus and made us all feel a little safer and yes, even a little bad azz.

Absolutely correct. Another thing about Pres. Bush was he had a decent throwing arm, throwing out the first pitch at a Washington Nationals game he had commanding control of the plate

Oh! One more nice thing about W was that he actually walked the walk regarding living green. W's house in TX was extremely eco friendly.

Does saying something positive about someone else always have to include a negative on these things? It goes both ways, you libs and cons.
