Has anyone considered the fact that it is both the sworn duty of both the President and the Attorney General to uphold the law; that such a duty doesn't allow for political political considerations? President Obama was very clear about not wishing to bring a criminal investigation into the use of torture, much to the chagrin of the left wing members of his party (myself included). It wasn't until the Office of Professional Responsibility issued its report that it became untenable to avoid a criminal investigation.

Is this more of the President's intrusion into CIA activity?
