My question is why did the Chinese investors had asked her to give a speech? Didn't they see her bumbling speeches during the campaign?

Let's see. . . .

While in England, one of our allies, the Dixie Chicks criticize Bush, and the right wing has a virtual meltdown--calling them "traitors" and burning their records.

Sarah Palin gives an anti-American and perfectly idiotic (as usual) speech in communist China, a country that would dearly love to see our defeat, and the right wing calls her "brilliant." (While, of course, they are at the same time excoriating Obama for "throwing America under the bus" in his most recent speech abroad.)

I think that about sums up the stupidity and hypocrisy of the right-wing brigade in this country.

I have a feeling her speech won't do much to reverse the trend of her favorable/unfavorable ratings.

Pollster.com: National Favorable Rating: Sarah Palin

This cannot be said enough. We need to beat the hypocritical wingnuts over the head with how despicable they behaved then, as well as now.

She had to go there as she could not see China from her home like she could Russia.

Others had very nice compliments for her.

She came well prepared and touched on a range of issues.

She didn't even need a teleprompter - just notes for 90 minutes. Pretty impressive...considering.
