Common sense says that many people who voted for Obama must feel like complete idiots now. So many were first time voters or young kids that have not lived long enough to know any better. Having Obama as president for the next four years will help to educate America's youth as to the consequences of voting for someone like him for president. This will wake up much of the youth and teach them to not be so gullible. 20 years from now the same naive people that voted for Obama will be able to better educate thier kids as to the importance of voting wisely. This is something positive about having someone like Obama as the president in our current times.

No, common sense only says that certain people MIGHT regret their decision by now. They would feel like complete idiots only if there was an obvious and far better alternative on election day. In my view, there was but people can't forgo their party allegiance long enough to consider the damage such blindness causes. The only thing our youthful first time voters need to learn is that the only leader they need is THEMSELVES. External authority brought us into this mess, personal sovereignty may be the only way out. Until secrets and lies are the stuff of the past, all elections will result in imperfect choices.
The choice was between Obama and John ("I don't understand the economy and wish interest rates were zero") McCain and running mate Sarah ("I can see Russia from my house") Palin. Americans made the obvious choice. Republicans should have run with Romney.
I don't think so. The young ones are back to their ipods and iphones and have forgotten about politics until the next Presidential election.
To many, it's still too soon to make a judgement. 1-1.5 years into the administration and then we may hear about unhappiness if Obama keeps breaking promises and we see taxes go up.

someone like him? Please expand on that. No, I'm not that young, and I do not feel like an idiot. Why would I? He's done, or is trying to do everything he said he would. My biggest disappointment is his recent remarks on emissions, and not being willing to have the US be a leader on cutting pollution.
