I was wondering what do you think Bushes approval ratings will be next year at this time?

I think he will be around 30% next year.

It seems a majority of conservatives worship Bush, they see no flaw in anything he can do. They see the Iraq War as going perfectly and they think his tax cuts are the best thing to ever political happen. I am sure alot of his true fans are middle-class who feel they are the one's who are getting the big tax cuts.

Anyway, I heavily doubt the Iraq situation will get any better it will probubly be the same old in Iraq as has been the case since 2003.

He will be down around 30 percent. He will have the hard-core conservatives in his corner no matter what he does.

Default The Base

The base who still support bush are probably includes the 28% who comprise the religious right. Maher made the point last week that the base figure coincides with the 28% who think the world will end this year. The wealthy may be included in this figure.

It's a moot point, he doesn't govern by the polls and isn't up for re-election anyway.

It matters because other politicians aren't going to support policies that could harm their chance at reelection. Bush becomes a lame duck.

If the grass-roots movement, and elected officials continue to call for impeachment, it may be a very mote point!

You're right, it does matter but for the wrong reasons. What I find so terribly frustrating is politicians by and large react to poll numbers instead of doing right by the people they are voted in to represent..

Well you have to give GWB this. Unlike many politicians he has never seemed to be overly concerned with the polls. He has done what he believes is right irregardless of the numbers.

And some would say he's done what's right for his friends in big business, regardless of it's impact on the American people...

And how does this make Bush different? Somewhere between 90-100% of the politicians in America do things for their friends in big business. They all lie throughout their campaign promising the voters whatever it is they think the voters want to hear. Then they spend their terms helping businesses that they have ties with while doing their best to appear as if they are really working for you and remember those 87 promises they made that haven't happened yet. I for one would love to see lobbyists destroyed, both conservative and liberal.

I think if the mostly liberal media has their way, his ratings will dip below 25%. Its kind of funny to watch. I don't care for Bush, but I think the liberal media is even more pathetic, so I find humor in the fact that Bush could care less about what the media is saying about him.

Is there anyway we could get rid of Bush and the liberal media at the same time? Maybe I would get less headaches.
