Title of thread does not say what you quoted. "so many people", or "majority of white america"? He made two different statements.

I didnt care what he said when he was a NBA player, I care even less now that he's a former player.

And there is no evidence that "majority" of anyone hates him, he still has higher approval ratings than "majority"..
